Other Land to look at Empty Other Land to look at

Hellos!

As other people have stated, there are other places for us to look at.
I figure we all have time on our hands to look because we, well.. we are anons! So im going to start creeping craigslist and other land for sale places, if you guys know of any good ones please add a link and Ill edit it into the first post here.

I figure we can focus on land over buildings because most of us wont be getting there for a while. And by that i mean you minors need to age properly!

I figure for now we can all look in our own states, and then figure who cover what area.

off I go hunting! (cause im more likely to find land than a job atm -.-)

States we arent going to look at: Hawaii and Alaska (for obvious reasons) and Tennessee due to all the huge restrictions they have.
Anyone else?

States we want to focus on:
Something in the grain belt, or along a waterway.

We also should decide if we want something with buildings already on it, or if we are looking for unbuilt land to do our own homes on.

Personally Im voting for something in Oregon, California or Nevada, near a lake, but still in a mountainous area. I say we find a farm that has sadly gone under, and build off of it in an eco friendly way, and I totally opt for solar panels and windmills. but that, and all the other plans you guys want to do, have zoning restrictions, so we need to look them up as well

I am in Colorado we have some beautiful land out here lots of fresh water and mountain lions to wrestle

Winter is a bitch but summer here is fantastic but I would rather we have Oregon or Nevada Cali is to much of a shithole even in the redneck areas where my uncle lives though we could get a lot of guns from him since he has an arsenal and wears a tin foil hat!

Colorado is somewhere you guys might wanna seriously look at you can actually farm in the right seasons.

If you guys know areas talk them up ^^ check your local papers, or the free for sale guides found in most grocery stores. filter rent.com, craigslist or even ebay.

I have family land not even on the market, but id have to get ahold of one of my many relatives on that side of the family to see if they've stopped bickering over a 4 year old will

Its only got one house, and its beat to shit, but it has heating and plumbing and if we work it right, there are 7 'bedrooms' in the main house, a 2 story barn/garage that can be 4 or more rooms, and 75 ACRES to work with.
there are several natural ponds and a creek running through it, and there are 6 apple trees in the main yard, as well as wild blackberry, strawberries, grape vines, and a cherry tree.
the land has oak and maple and hickory trees, we grew up selling the hickory to restaurants in town (only about 20-30 min away)
we there are deer, coyotes, cougars and bear in the hills, among other things, so this isnt a good area to wander off alone in. we get geese and ducks seasonally, and the local farms include a bee farm, a dairy down the road a few miles, a miniature donkey farm, lamas and alpacas across the road. And several hops farms, and vineyards.

highway 99 is very closeby, and takes you directly into mcminnville, the closest large town. where there is a farmers market every Thursday, and plenty of places for us to get jobs at until we grow ourselves up right. there are also lumbar mills in town so supplies can be cheap

if you guys have any questions about it I'd be ecstatic to answer, and I hope to see info about land you know of!

I'd say the northwest is ideal - the land is good and the people are likely to be friendly to our general demeanor. Low population outside of a few cities, and folks don't generally care for the feds.

I've got a shack in the woods of northern CA at the moment, but the place isn't big enough to house more than a couple people, and there's only a few acres. Hardly ideal for a larger-scale operation.

I live in Missouri right now and there is a ton of empty land where I am (Southeast). There isn't a lot of towns or cities but it could be owned by farmers. I'll look into it.
